Brrr... it certainly is grim up north

So here I am in a phone box 80 yards from newcstle train station. It's bloody freezing and there's snow bouncing off the windows. I needed to check my emails for something so I put a quid in the machine and it's going to run out soon but I might as well get my money's worth as the train is not until 1021. Last night was brill. I just went to Trev's bar and some old friends came and said "Hi" and we had a few beers. it' been so nice to see evveryone again, not to mention being back at Trevs as I havent actually slept in those six walls for 2 and a half years. Breakfast was weird this morning but it was great to see the fourth years upholdingt

Sunny old Durham

Had a fairly mediocre curry which we waited hours for last night. It tasted ok but none of the dishes were spicy nor warm so it was cold mild curry. The Naans had gone cold and the rice was luke warm. It wasn't the best I'd had, let's put it that way.
Then Harko wowwed us with his dancing! He did the clock dance and the jiggery pockery. We are yet to play naked rugby. But we had a couple of throw arounds in the undercroft at college.
Today I had a cooked breakfast at BHS; 10 items for £2.80 with Tom and Stu. Then we saw some comedy rowing in the novice cup. Still yet to have lunch or even think about it. We've bought Ian's birthday present and it's pretty funky. Just got back from rugby on the wet back lawn and I'm wet as I overlooked the necessity of more than one pair of pants. Oh well.
Don't know what's going to happen this afternoon but we're going to the "Court Inn" for tea so it should be good!

I'm in DURHAM

I had an x-ray this morning at the hospital for my medical next week. I'm required to pass it to get the job as an ATCO. It was pretty quick and they quizzed me quite closely about who NATS are. I tried to explain but I don't think they got the idea, perhaps I wasn't being very communicative.
Then I got on the train and came to Durham to see all my mates. That's where I am now. www.dur.ac.uk/TrevsJCR have a looky. I'm in Ian's room a good friend, and we've just ordered curry so I'm looking forward to it. Expect some pictures maybe, we'll see.

I've finished work!

So I'm all finished. I got a couple of cards, one from the resourcing team and one from R & B who I've sat opposite for a couple of weeks now. I wasn't really sad to go. I left quite un-eventfully really. We went to the pub for lunch, which was nice, and my team (4 other members) got me a very nice single malt. I don't remember telling them anything about my love for whisky but maybe I did.
I think I spent most of my time there telling people about what I was moving on to. Skiing and ATC. Anyway I'm going to relax tonight and watch lots of "extras".

Boring Old Me

So I'm at my dad's at the moment using his internet and it has been a while since I last blogged. Anyway we've been chatting about IT and things.
It seems I've been demoted to data inputter although it's more like I've gained a new role on top of the current one. Still today I was as good as out of the office. Data inputting, it seems, is a fairly boring job and, let me tell you, I can't wait until it's all inputted.
My team has gained a new employee! Yay. She's taking a lot of workload of Kirsty another team member, but it's just creating more for me at the moment as I'm sitting next to her and she still needs training in the software we use.
Let's not talk about work though, I'm going skiing soon! and I'm putting together a commuincation for all my mates who will hopefully be coming on Trotski 2006 to Megeve.
