Megeve Piccys

So this week there's no one staying in the chalet and the snow has arrived. It started snowing yesterday at 1500 and it's still going so there's about a foot. It's not amazingly heavy but it is enough. Beccy's Mum and Dad are here for a few days. They stayed in Geneva because there wasn't a room to be had anywhere in Megeve and the chalet was reluctant to have them as guests. But they've driven up to the resort to have a look around. We had a very nice lunch indeed in the Couer de Megeve whilst gazing at the wintery wonderland through the restaurant's windows. Since I haven't posted many piccies here are a few of christmas in the snow! Here is the central square of megeve with plenty of snow and lights. There were also small "chalets" around the square with various christmassy related things to look at inside. Of course Beccy is in the middle.

The christmas tree was huge!

Again the square was brilliantly lit and bustling with people. The locals were serving free mulled wine and hot choccy and everyone was in high spirits.

Here are the staff clockwise from the top is myself, Beccy, Naomi, Gary and Richard!

I can understand that :D :p

Glad you're having a fab time - sorry we won't be able to get out there to see you both - work's got in the way. Again :(

Have fun - and see you soon! Mx
