Towel Day

Today is Towel Day, celebrated by a few Douglas Adams fans. Were you one of them?

On another less literary related note I'm now a trained claims handler for an insurance firm. Work is good, but not what I want to do indefintely. I finished my training in the Baggage area of Travel claims which is people claiming for stuff they've lost or stolen whilst on holiday. It's not as interesting as it sounds?

Still not long to go before I can move on down to Bournemouth with my lovely! who is now safely in Port Macquarie. It's the start of the Gold Coast so she's probably going to learn to surf. I think today she's been wine tasting. It's alright for some!?

Needless to say I am missing her to a degree but It makes it easier knowing she's having fun. And I honestly can't say I mind her going away for 4 weeks. Some of my team at work were flabbergasted that I'd let her go. One of my Temp friends was more reasonable as he has spent some time on cruise ships away from his girlfriend for 4 month sorties. I don't know what all the fuss is about!

I am indeed having fun! The aforementioned wine tasting was excellent, and thankfully the chain on Rosie's (borrowed) bike broke, so we didn't even have to cycle the 10k back!

Am off now, there's beaches to be lying on and Fosters to be drunk...
