Heathrow/Manchster, is it all the same?

Good afternoon from London Heathrow. Having passed my course just a week ago I now find myself waiting for a flight to Madrid. It's not a normal flight and in fact it rather confuses the check in staff as I am actually flying in the cockpit!!! Brilliant!!! In fact I've already been to Hamburg on the flight deck and it was very... illuminating. I think I want to be a pilot now (only kidding).
Also I had some news yesterday of where I will be going to complete my training. They've decided they need my services in Manchester. Now this wouldn't be so bad, in fact I'm looking forward to going but there is an air of dissapointment because I quite like living in Bournemouth. It's a lovely place and what's more Beccy has a great job which she doesn't really want to give up. But there's more, because the company is closing the centre at Manchester. As you probably know I spend most of my day watching the telly and talking to planes. My job would never require me to look out of the window, so where I do it from really doesn't matter. Hence the company have decided to close the centre and move it to Prestwick, which I wouldn't mind either, were it not for the fact that I'll be settling in Manch for 3-5 years and then have to leave. Furthermore, if I spend the majority of my adult life in Scotland and if I have children, they'll be Scottish. Now I've not got anything against the Scots, per-se, but I don't think I'd like to spawn any.
There are good things to it, for example, the house prices in both the respective areas where I will end up will be affordable, I mean down in Christchurch you look at a two Bedroom ground floor flat for £180,000 and think wow!! that's cheap... which is quite frankly ridiculous. In Prestwick you can buy a 4 b-room family home for that much, and that's no joke.
Also I suppose we'll be closer to the family (hello family!). Which I'm sure will be nice, hmmm.
Anyway, here I am sat in Heathrow spending money like it's going out of fashion. When I get home I'll post some photos and vids from the inside of the cockpits but I can't right now coz I'm at some internet cafe thingummy. Expect further details shortly.
