Validation Drinks, Pizza and the Best Sticky Toffee Pudding in the World!!!

Today a good friend and fellow trainee off my watch validated on the East Bank; well done Chris. He started on watch about 3 months before me so I guess we were trainee buddies. So the watch went out for a drink in town and Beccy and I joined them. Brian, Matt and Holly came too. We four joined them in a beer tent in Albert square, where there's a summer market on.
We stayed for just one as it could have got messy so Brian, Matt, Holly, Beccy and I went back to their howse in the Green Quarter (about a 5 minute walk from the centre of town) where Matt cooked us some delicious pizza.
It was Matt who introduced Beccy and I to home baked pizza which some of you readers may be most privileged enough to have tried it. It all hinges on the pizza stone which creates a crispy base. I'm salivating just thinking about it.
Matt however had excelled himself and made dessert in the form of sticky toffee pudding. Even better though was the extra ingredient which he added on a whim and changed the outlook on sticky toffee pudding forever. So thanks Matt for two things:- making such a brilliant pudding and ensuring that we'll never enjoy one quite as much again (unless it's yours, of course).
