Footer Now At Foot

For those of you using a none IE.6 browser you may have noticed a footer error, in that is was directly below the header and behind (thankfully) the content. After weeks of toil I finally found that the problem lay with an incompatible piece of the CSS (the bit which put the lovely border around the current PlotCam jpeg in the side bar incidentally). Funny that. I have no idea why the said formatting wouldn't work; I probably omitted a comma. Anyway it's now gone forever... yet the formatting remains?
-oh yes, I just copied and pasted into the style="blah blah blah" for the actual picture.
If none of this makes sense and all seems like a load of gobbledegook: disregard all after "For those of you ".
